Mika Kallio said today that he had tried to attract this year also in MotoGP teams, but they were not a good choice, he'd rather stay Moto2 and winning a championship

So now we have something factory 2. Whatever next? Some might say this is the sort of gimmicks you resort to when you've lost confidence in your product and you have no clear cut idea of which direction to go in.

Good luck to all involved.

Qatar this weekend - is it possible for a factory 2 bike to win the GP?

This race could be half interesting going by practice results - good to see neither Honda or Yamaha leading the way

Anyone have a good link or explanation of the difference between the 2 classes that race in MotoGP. My guess is the fastest (Marquez, etc)
are 1 off's and the slower class are bikes that can be bought in the showroom. Thanks.

Looking forward to Nicky and Colin trading blows. Probably won't make
much tv time though.

Exactly. Rossi looked in fine form. Cant believe Marquez broke his
ankle 6 weeks ago . Very un- characteristic of Lorenzo going down
as he did. First lap / maybe tires not up to temp. Proud of that 9th or 10th
Hayden posted in the open class.

Not bad at all! The passing and re-passing between Rossi and Marquez was spectacular indeed.

The front end crashes of Lorenzo, Bradl et al looked so abrupt and violent, especially the way they were slammed into the ground. Nothing progressive or predictive about the crashes at all. Scary.

Good racing in Moto2 (I like Rabat's style) and 3 too.

Yes, MotoGP is on One/Ten. Qatar was on early Monday morning though, due to it being a night race.

The Aussie coverage has gone back to the pre-2010 scenario

FOX has MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 live.

Channel 10/ONE will have the MotoGP either live or close to live, and will only show Moto2 & Moto3 live at Phillip Island.
