Eddy V should be qualifying in the top 10 on the gridEddy V should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
That is easy, just say when.
I know the very old lay out, before the Malmedy chicane.

First visit was 1970 I think. "Raced" only once on the old track:
Marshalled a lot there and did many hundreds of laps on the old track.

Maybe a mod can make a new thread of this all?

Isn't the Masta Kink on the road from Les Combes to Malmedy? Only if it is you shouldn't be anywhere near it heading to Stavelot. I thought it was the place with the handrail and low level footpath on the right by the houses.

The Masta kink is between Malmedy and Stavelot, where the friterie is on the left if you are going towards Stavelot. The buildings are just around the corner.

This is the entry of the old R-L-R chicane after it was changed.

THAT Peter, is Burnenville. Another very ballsy corner. There used to be a bump in the early days on the racing line just after the entry. If you didn't remember that you found yourself on the left hand side near the armco on full throttle.

Great owner in those days of the white house on the exit, the old man catered the marshals well.

Another thread down the sink.

What puzzles me is the hairdryer up in the air and nobody holding it.

@ Delta: no problem, maybe we can organise a bus tour.

Well I've had similar thoughts.
And believe me, when I have to think it hurts a lot.

But it is something to think about.

That's kind of what we did last 6 Hrs: enjoy a weekend of historic racing, sunday eve off to Pistenklause, monday a day at the 'Ring, tuesday back to Spa and trackdays. We were with a group of about 20 cars.
