pete60 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Mystery solved...except as to where it is now.

I think it's very inapproriate to label a reskinned AU as a "full" BA. We have seen this with Darren Saillard's reskinned BA, which is occasionally claimed to be an "ex FPR BA".

I would have thought there would be more value in that DJR chassis as an AU, rather than a bitser BA.

GTR Magic, if you have a close look at the ex PHR Falcon for sale in WA.
It was been driven by Nathan Vince at a WA State Series round, he used to own DJR EB1 (the expensive show car).

He still does. It's also for sale, as a rolling chassis in EL form.

Good question! We've gone around and around but not established this!

My money is on the AU built by Matthew White in 2005. Over to the rest of you to disprove that...

Think there may have been a bit of confusion about the Briggs cars.

Briggs first Falcon was an EL which debuted at the Oran Park round in 97 and drove it at 6 sprint rounds and Indy in 98. In 99 the team expanded to 2 cars with Supercheap sponsorship, with Supercheap proprietor Bob Thorn driving it in 7 sprint rounds and in the enduros with Todd Wanless. The car then remained unused until restored for John Bowe to drive at Indy in 00 in Caterpillar colours. The shell was decribed as ex Playscape, possibly being the original Waldock EB that he raced from the 93 Sandown 500 until Oran Park in 95.

Briggs debuted an AU at Adelaide in 99 and racd in in another 6 sprint rounds and in the enduros with Tim Leahy. This was sold to Paul Little Racing in 2001 and after a rebuild debuted at Bathurst that year.

In the meantime PAE Motorsport had been established in WA and former DJR engineer Les Laidlaw had overseen the construction of an EL by the end of 98. This was raced in the first 3 meetings of 99 by John Bowe. The plan was that Tim Leahey would race the car in some races, and it even appeared at a Waneroo as # 550 but nothing ever came of it. It was sold to Craig Bastian who raced it in 4 Dev series meetings in 02. I have a note that this was also the Playscape.

The PAE was debuted at Waneroo in 99 by Bowe who raced it up until the Adelaide round in 01. It was sold to Ross Halliday who debuted it at Bathurst and ran it in the Dev series in 02, it later was sold to Rob Tebb.

By the final ATCC round in 99, PAE had been sold to Briggs who merged the 2 teams in Queensland.

Hey, what about the AU's built by Brad Jones Racing and Larkham Motorsport.
From what notes i have, BJR built at least 3 AU's. and Larkham built 2 after his SBR built AU was totalled in the Oran Park fireball in 2000.

If you remember, Larkham ran 2 AU's at the start of the 2003 season while they built their first BA, this came online at Oran Park (i might be wrong?!).

Plus, the AU's built by PWR. at least 3-4 from the top of the noggin.

Are these good suggestions???
