TT very unlucky looking at the onboard camera on WorldRX Team Austria's facebook. Anyone know why TT lost his sponsorship?

I feel sorry for TT. Great speed during the weekend just to have it all taken away from him by a situation that felt very doubtful. WRX Austria posted a pic of a smashed windshield on TT's car (guess it was TT himself) and Pucher believed it was a conspiracy to keep the championship interesting.
Was the DSQ put in place due to the last lap in the semi-final?

If so, to me, it looks like TT pushed Topi wide, which I would had reversed the positions. A DSQ seems harsh.

However, his push on Petter in Q4 was a bit far. Petter made the comment that TT doesn't get black flag or penalties, so perhaps the judges took note....?

Well TT did get a warning for the incident with Solberg. What is odd though is that they posted that TT was to be in the final and then gave him a black flag for the semi.

TT himself said that there was no contact and that his car was whole besides from Eriksson's push in his back. Has anybody seen a statement from FIA?

Solberg still the second car but I guess it is stripped down at the moment, but could be wrong.

Not yet. Are such decisions still in the hands of the local circuit officials or someone from the Championship?

There was a comment made on Facebook that it has been sold, but I wasn't sure how accurate that was. As you say it may be stripped, but I'm sure they could transfer all the running gear from the damaged car to that shell without too much hassle.

Penalties for one and not others seems insane when you consider the sheer amount of contact in rallycross these days.

I would move towards conspiracy to be honest, this is IMG we are talking about.

Unless there is something going on with the Austria cars that they dont like but they cant do anything to exclude them from competing.

Few photos of the Marklund/Solberg collision in JKR's album on Facebook.

Those are two bent looking supercars, especially Petter's, it looks like the rear end has collapsed.

The latest post on Petter's Facebook indicates that he is flying his car back to Europe to try and get it straightened out in time for Loheac: fingers crossed!

Going back to Canada: superb drive from DeJong in the Lites. You could see the car crabbing down the main straight, he did well to hang onto it for the win.

If DeJong and OMSE had not split I believe he could very well have been a top driver in both GRC and WRX. To me he is the first American product of rallycross, even if he raced in trucks before. Hopefully he will be in a Supercar sometime in the future.

Not the first time this sort of thing has happened, the amount of near misses at finish lines when drivers getting good results start donutting meters after crossing the line is hilarious

I think Skogstad got hit real hard once by a car after he just started turning across the track while the rest of the field were still racing across the line.

And the amount of times Schanche nearly collected people doing broadsides across the line, if Rustad hadn't done exactly the same thing in Lyngas one year he would have taken his boss out clean and hard!
