Just checked the timetable.

Now let's see . . .

95-mile round trip to Oulton Park for BTCC, 450-mile round trip to Brands for Legends, Pickups, Bernies V8s &, above all, Euro NASCARs. Not a difficult choice; see y'all there!

I was really looking forward to this after my long lay off due to injuries and other things.
Then something else went wrong and I could only do the Sunday. Now another thing has gone wrong I can't do it at all, aarrghh!

A great start to the weekend - thanks to everybody on Post 3 for a very enjoyable day & some excellent "can-do" marshalling.

Thanks also to the driver of car 49, who took the trouble to come round
to the post & thank the marshals for pushing him out of the gravel trap.

Another great day with another good team, this time on Post 4.

Good racing with some superb cars; the American Car Parade at the end of day was a perfect ending to a wonderful weekend - the cherry on the cake was Bodysnatcher's last incident . . . a Corvette driver who decided to redefine "parade"!

"Putting the Brands into Brands 2013" was a great success!

Great weekend, couldn't ask for more, good cars, good company, proper racing, decent quantity of noise. Nice, even suntan.
Thanks to all on 2

I lied about the suntan, it's not even at all.

A good meeting, great time on Post 2.

And for those who didn't stay for the parade at the end of the day you can see it here http://youtu.be/YOUym7YA65U. It took just over 6 minutes for all the cars (minus BodySnatcher's visitor) to pass me.

And it was good the meet Dave Brand and KayBee again.

Well, what a weekend .....

Big thanks to my colleagues on P3 on Saturday and P4 on Sunday - good company and good marshalling.

Highlight for me was Bernie's V8s - fantastic machines and really appreciative drivers at end of races - .

Atoms -

As for the driver in the car parade -

Bring it on next year (but use the British Legends...)

I think you will find the Legends are part of the NASCAR package

Are you sure?, the programme had the Legends next round as Magny Cours (with our PickUps on the same bill), but the E-NASCARS next round is Tours. Sad, the Legends were by far the weakest part of the package, (excluding the Atoms because they are only in year 1).

OK looked it up - EuroNascars go Tours, Aragon, Monza Le Mans for the rest of the year
Euro Legends go Magny Cours, Albi, Ledenon, Nogaro.

As I said elsewhere, perhaps they should run to British Legend race lengths - give them more races, but shorter, please, 40 minutes of Legends is just painful when they get spread out after 5.

Then lets hope they get less track time. 1 hour 40 on Saturday and 1 hour Sunday was much more than the headline races.

Legend number 555, might not want to come back, after he kissed the pit wall.
I was just glad to see him climb out of the wreck.

Kissed???? if that's your definition of kissed I'd hate to see what you call a big impact!
