Variety is the spice
I've just noticed that over a 11 weekend period I will have officiated at 7 different types of event doing 6 different jobs, talk about keep you on your toes.
Weekend 1 2 days Drag Racing MSA Steward Weekend 2 1 day Karting MSA Steward Weekend 3 2 days Rallying Incident Weekend 4 1 day Karting MSA Steward Weekend 5 4 Days Drag Racing FIA Steward Weekend 6 1 Day Rallycross Chief Observer Weekend 7 1 Day Karting MSA Steward Weekend 8 1 Day Rallying Incident Weekend 9 1 Day Rallying Incident 1 Day Car Racing MSA Steward Weekend 10 1 Day Car Racing Flag Marshal 3 Days Car Racing Observer Weekend 11 4 Days Special event Clerk of Course And on and on and then it's Christamas.....well Boxing Day @ Mallory |

Hmmmmm, lets think, this year.
Not as many as the illustrious FC, but so far racked up Stage commander In stage radio/incident Rally Timekeeper Circuit PC Flag Incident (i helped shove a sports 2000 through the Pit gate a couple of weeks ago) That will teach me to leave the box  To Come, Club Steward, great Job, spend the day chatting and drinking tea. (Only because the event is so well run i dont have to do anything!) |

Only done 8 days marshalling this year at 4 different circuits but managed to do a different duty at each one :-
Oulton Park - 1 day - Fire tender driver Donington - 1 day - Incident Officer Brands Hatch - 2 days - Post Chief Nurburgring - 4 days - Flag marshal |
