Was it wet then Hubble? Because a Rental kart should be like 10-12 seconds behind a TKM.

Was the kart a twin engined Pro-kart? Single engined?

the only way you are going to find out is if you enter a corporate kart race with guys who regualy race at the track!!!...which is the advice given to you months ago....setting a lap time in practice is completely meaningless when comparing with other days....track temp/karts/conditions are all completely different!!!!

The lap time was set on a cold day febuary 2011
The kart was a single engine hire kart.
Lap time 0.59.239 (correction)

Then those J Tkm Times are WET.

Because a TKM would lap easily 12+ seconds quicker on a lap compared to a single engined prokart.

Like other have said mate, join there corporate championship.

AGAIN you are basing your assumption that you could be the next lewis hamilton on one lap set in Febuary this year.

i remember saying to you back then to get yourself in their championship, do more testing, get your arks, get racing at club level for a couple of years and then super 1 if you are good enough.....

....have you taken my advice NO!!!!!

....instead here we are 11 months along the line and you are still basing the fact that you are going to be the next lewis hamilton on 1 lap!!!......

....if you put as much effort into getting onto the the track, as talking on this forum, completely disregarding our advice that you are completely deilusional and you can jump straight into intersteps or super 1, then you would be world champion already!!!!

...as it is, you already started late as a driver, and you have just wasted another year of your life with your head in the clouds thinking that you are brilliant, based upon 1 lap set a year ago, which apparently was quite good according to the manager of the circuit, who was probably just trying to get you to spend more money with them.

Adam i sound harsh, i dont like rubbishing peoples dreams, but seriously dude, if you ask questions on here and ask for advice, then you need to take the advice given to you and act upon it!!!!...il NEVER say you cant do anything, but you really need to start listening, because if you want to do ANYTHING in life, thats probably the most important thing you could learn to do!!!

Adam, a single engined prokart is no where near as fast as a TKM. What are you trying to prove.

Do the Race karts run a different circuit to rentals slightly?!

A quick look at the circuit map for the location would indicate that there are several track configurations available, several of which could be considered "the full track" so comparisons with anything other than karts in the same session are pretty meaningless. I bet even on different days "the full track" for corporate/"fun" events will change depending on who kicked the tyres in to place that morning.

Laptimes for TKM round Warden Law is about 55 seconds speaking from memory. I remember being in the 54's at Super 1/Internations there 5 years ago.

It's a very long lap

I guess Adam needs a change of management as i see he narrowly lost out on the Williams drive to Bruno Senna. Better luck next year mate.
