Le Mans 98 - Roock Racing GT2

I haven't posted any of my paintings for a while so here goes.

This one was recently completed of the Roock Racing Porsche GT2 in the '98 Le Mans with the works GT1 car about to lap. Painted for Roock driver Dave Warnock.
In acrylics to a size of 40 x 30ins.

The scene is early morning just before the braking area for the right hander into Indianapolis. In the background, a Toyota and Viper follow.

I hope you like it. All comments as usual gratefully received.

Here I am with the original, to show how large the 40 x 30in painting is.

As usual, your work is exemplary. It seems they keep you pretty busy too.

Well done Kitson - great picture of a great car. One of my clients has just rebuilt a Konrad Le Mans winning GT2 racer at G-Force and was thinking of adding a Roock to the stable. I'll recommend he thinks about a montage of yours. Those GT2 Porsche were really strong animals.
