SJWBallistic should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
All in all a good day at mallory for me and it was nice to be back there.
The sun stayed out all day and it was certainly hot.
For me both practice and the race were without problem Qualifying 4th and finishing 3rd in the 500s.

Great shot from Percy of me going through the Devils Elbow

Not such a great run for the 10/10thers in the 500s
Delta broke the car after 1 lap in qualifying
Rudolf had a nasty looking crash in the Whitfill but was ok to take run out later with the Juniors
RMB seized an engine in the Revis but again was out in his junior

Only 1 race left for me this season - The Autumn Classic at Castle Combe in October. I will be at Goodwood but only as a mechanic/pusher.

Well done Stuart. "just pack those nasty fags up"Great you got on podium. I still had a great day and took away loads of posatives even with just one lap. Some of the machinery at the meeting is just incredable. Would love to do Castle Combe but clashes with Dijon.
Have to hope Sir John lets me borrow the Arnott again next year???

yep, in the Autosport mk2 - much better race in the FJ. 2 and a bit seconds quicker a lap in the race than practice. Still suffering with a lack of horses and a lack of brakes but had a good battle with Rudolf - great fun.

we had problems with Revis in practice a head stud had pulled out and damaged gasket - tried to fix it with Andy Turner's help still had problems went out to race. On lap 1 arriving at the hairpin the back wheel stopped turning - which is always fun - and that was that - more work.

I love this photo, it is as if it is trying to tell me something about racing?

well that is an interesting picture of the start - kind of looks like the Revis was on the track and took the start flag.

shame it is not mentioned in the published results - I though for a moment that maybe I dreamed the whole thing up, the start, the jumping two or three around Gerrard's and the the lock up going into the hairpin as it all seized up!

Not much time this week to post many photos but here's a few of 'Tenthers' in the assembly area for F3 500cc morning practice plus one from practice itself which shows Rudolf and (if you look carefully) Iain!
