As others say, as long as NGTC produces good grids and good racing, keep it. If any problems arise however, always keep TCR in mind, because relying on your own unique regulations when there are others that might serve as a solution is just as bad as going with something else when what you've got works. Of course, if ever such a problem arises, the alternatives should be considered as well.

What do you base that on? After cancelling WRC TCR is VW's main motorsport programme, so as 'factory' outfit I wouldn't be surprised if WRT got new chassis' for the new season.

I didn't think about that but since they use Audi in BES/BSS should it be 'normal' to switch for RS3

That I agree with. If anything should go wrong with NGTC, we've got a proven formula that works waiting in the wings |

No suprise there, considering the technical problems they've had with the Honda's.

Wow, did not see that coming!
Sounds a bit like they are eying to run Audi´s next year. I just hope that a decent Team will carry the Honda torch in the future, hopefully JAS themselves or Target. It would be a shame if all the TCR Topteams run VAG cars build and developed in Spain. Also I´m a little bit worried that the TCRIS won´t have all the relevant available cars on the grid as they should have as the international pinacle of TCR. My (partly realistic) dream grid would have Bamboo with SEAT, Westcoast with Audi, Leopard with Audi, B3 with Kia, JAS with Honda, Target with Opel, Engstler with VW, Romero Ferraris with Alfa and hopefully some competent Outfits with Subarus and Fords. Would be sad to see some competitive cars only appear in national competition. |

I think that Target will run Honda. Josh Files said that he would like to drive in International with Honda.
http://www.touringcartimes.com/2016/...ny-josh-files/ “For me, next year, I would like to be really greedy actually, I would like to do TCR Germany in the Honda and TCR International as well. As long as the calendar allows it, which normally should. This year the only clash was Malaysia, but it was there because they were originally going to Shanghai.” |

I did notice Daniel Lloyd in the vicinity of the Craft Bamboo team in Macau. Maybe something to look out for.
