Valker should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Single seater racing in Sweden

Nordic Formula Renault seems to be dead and there were only 9 drivers (2 from Finland) at the opening round of Swedish FF championship this weekend.

Can anyone tell me what's happening to Swedish single seaters?

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Money mate, money. I spent month on to find backing for Swedish driver in Sweden, and wasn't lucky enough and successful... I know Swedish racing scene a bit, I talked to few drivers, they all say the same, can't find budget in Sweden for monoposto. Look at Goransson (he's doing great things in STCC, so I don't think it is harm for him not to do cost effective ss), Wirdheim (I think he is paid for FNippon drive, so it's o'rite for him, I guess) and they were young guns who should be in ICS, CC or F1 nowadays, but where's Danielsson, Kudzak, MISLIJEVIC (!), and number of others...? I hope Alx and Martin can make it to top singe seater racing, but Jonny's done. And it's sad.

The Formula Ford Zetec championship had quite a large field in 2005, but then just about everyone wrecked their car in a big start accident at GellerĂ¥sen (I think it was 21 cars involved) and it's all seemed downhill from there.

I just noticed that there's no FF NEZ rounds supporting STCC meetings but while some of them are on same date as STCC races, the situation isn't good for marketing... or for spectators.

Thats really funny, sorry anyone who was involved, but i cant believe swedish single seater motorsport ended in a crash.

I went to Falkenberg in july of 2005 and it was a real good field, 30 plus cars. There has been a lot of fighting between rivalling organisations and they have really screwed up the championship.
