Lydden Entry/BRC
Does anyone know when the Lydden Entry will be released??
Entries closed on the 26th March and still no entry list! (Don't mean to state the obvious - but a lack of communication again!!) Would be interesting to see who's going? and who's not, especially with the latest announcements made public. We already know the BRC has lost, Evans, Etherington, Watson and Cake from this years championship, how many others will be lost!? Any thoughts? |

I am sat on fence at moment no entry in for Lydden as dont agree with having only one tyre manufacturer and the fact that we have to disguard all our new tyres that have been assigned for this season.
I cant make todays tyre testing due to work pressures as you will all know Saturdays are very busy for me with weddigns here at the hotel. So straight away I am penalised with no free set of tyres. The announcement today that the British champion is not doing the BRC is also a blow to the championship especially when Chris won it fair and square! BUT I endeavoured all last season to get the car on the pace and correct all that was wrong with the car and get used to it ready for a assault on the BRC this year so very disgruntled that I have to give it up due to very late sponsorship deal that really the competitors will pay for anyway due to purchase of fresh rubber. We will wait and see what others have to say after the tyre test today i guess. But you will definitely see me in all Open series rounds as well as Super prix as I am title sponsor we also have entry in for the French ERC round |

Mark surely you can use all the tyres you have bought for the French ERC round and the Open Championship rounds, and negotiate a deal on Kumho rubber as you couldn't make it today? Now you have the Xsara running properly it will be a great shame if you can't make it to Lydden either, all spectators want to see you go well!

With all the news about people withdrawing for whatever reasons
I can confirm that John is heading to Oreca in France on Tuesday for a test session in the CarSmart Xsara. All going well, the car will be then taken to Lydden for round 1 of the BRC [IMG][/IMG] Last edited by shhh; 31 Mar 2007 at 18:51. |

Please oh Please can u use a different picture because I am sick of seeing that one. IF I have seen it once I have seen it a million times. Talk about using the Forum as a dull PR Job.

This thread started badly and went downhill from there.
Point 1. We should all know by now that entry lists are normally posted a week before an event. I would expect one to be available tomorrow. Point 2. Ten-Tenths are discussion forums, not a PR tool for organisations, promoters or drivers. Point 3. Press Releases, are not allowed in threads. We have a dedicated site for them. www.parcferme.com If you wish to discuss anything found in press release, you may post a relevant section of the release to highlight your point, but if a whole press release is posted it will be deleted. Point 4. The forum rules can be found in the FAQ section. If you have not yet had a look at them please take a moment and do so.
