It was the ERS-K systems on both cars that failed.

I digress from the thread but Autosport have an interesting article on what went wrong during the race.

Regardless of the Perez move, am I the only one that thinks Massa's move was both late and ambitious. I actually like Felipe but given the way he caught that group of cars I was also surprised that he didn't get stuck into them earlier.

Much as I'd like to give it to Dani Ricc - great race mate!

It has to go to Rosberg for one of the greatest saves in history!

Could Lewis have persisted?

A change is always good for the sport, so here's to Ricciardo.

CAnt give it to anyone but Rosberg.

To drve an ailing car that well and adapt to the power deficit showed true champion ability, a thing lacking in a lot of drivers these days.

OK the car is a class apart, but to be able to hold them off for that long was a stunning drive.

I think Perez not having DRS helped obviously, as Vettel could only just squeak alongisde with it! But still, a proper effort from Rosberg.

Disgusted to see Sergio Perez end up with a 5/10 in Autosport's driver ratings. I can understand why you'd mark him down, but 50% is pathetic. On that basis Ricciardo deserves no more than a 6, whilst my man-of-the-race Rosberg will scrape a 7.
