If Wolfgang Kaufmann is named as Driver on the RSR, is it the Luca Moro RSR ?

Interesting news on DSC; GLPK is looking to enter both the C6R and C5R this year. Proves me wrong, I always thought they'd sell the C5R. The idea is to have Hezemans and a fast driver with budget in the C6R, and Kumpen and Longin in the C5R. If this plan doesn't succeed they'll enter the C6R with 3 drivers again.

Great news if this goes on imho, with a good codriver I really think Hezemans will be a title contender.

Afaik the plans with those is still Belcar/French GT/LMS, and only the Spa24h.

Marc Goossens is no longer driving the SRT Corvette in Belcar so he has some spare time...(but probably not enough budget ).

Bramzel, from Italian newspaper SportAutoMoto, other infos (speculations?) :
1x MC12 SaraFree Playteam (new chassis) in selected events
1x Aston Martin from Danish
No F550 for Labre mentioned, but possible 1x MenX and 1x Cirtek, but Cirtek can get a second AM in time for the start of the season .
No F575 for GPC

The main problem for the Teams (said Bartels) is the TV Coverage not defined !!

About Lamborghini, I hope to see the Reiter car(s)

SportAutoMoto says there is an AM DBR9 sold in Danemark, but not racing program are still defined (maybe no run on track) and this is car not is the Phoenix car (for what I understand in the article)

The Danish Aston was delivered last autumn, the team should be built around Allan Simmonsen and has Le Mans as target. But since the Danish took delivery of their Aston, it is very quiet.

There are several rumours about Phoenix, but I’m very doubtful that we will see them FIA GT this year. First it was rumoured that they get a Corvette, three ago it was rumoured they ordered a Aston and this week it was rumoured that they made a bid on two Mercedes C-Class for DTM.

Sometime i thought that Phoenix must have invited the Motorsportaktuell editors in their hospitality because every two weeks they publish a new rumour about Phoenix but well perfoming teams like Kruse Motorsport get only one sentence in the Motorsportaktuell LeMans coverage ???

Cunningham and Derbyshire confirmed to copilot Balfe in his Saleen. That's a very good lineup imho, if they can maintain the Saleen as well as they did with the Mosler I see happy days ahead.

The DSC story suggests that Embasy's Jonathan France is sponsoring Cunningham's drive, is this a retainer on his services for Embasy's own 2007 plans....?

Good line up , but they will be at a disadvantage with three crew in the car like Carsport was last year . Still , looking forward to seeing another good Saleen .

I don't think we will see the GLPK C5R back in FIA GT. Accoording to THIS article it will appear in Belcar.

Why is it a disadvantage? You have to make two stop minimum anyway, and with fresh drivers in at different stages of a race it is actually an advantage more than anything else.

Especially if its as hot at some of the rounds this year that it was last year.

Less tracktime in practice and qualy, you have more people to comfort in the setup, etc. Also in the GLPK team it's seen as a negative point, wich is also why they were hoping to split it up. Appartently they lost hope, though I still hope they can make it.

Imho Longin is the weak link that will prevent them from running for the championship. He's a good driver, he's just not on par with Hezemans/Kumpen or any of the other championship contenders. Usually he's one to two seconds slower, wich is too much when the field is as close as it is in FIAGT. That's why I was so happy that they were planning to split things up. Hezemans + codriver in car 1, Kumpen + Longin in car 2. Still hoping this will happen.

So why not Hezemans + Kumpen in C6R? Or is that not possible for budget reasons?

As Longin brings in a proper load of Siemens-money that's not really a option.

Carsport could have won another (LMES) race last year , but there was something about another stop for a driver change ..... if i remember correctly that is ? And Longin is not as quick as his last years team mates .

Carsport didn't do LMES races last year, so I'm confused. Are you actually talking FIAGT?
