2018 Pirelli Super Taikyu Series
Note the new series name, a new title sponsor and tyre supplier for Japan's pro-am endurance series founded in 1991.
Class structure remains unchanged for 2018: ST-X: FIA GT3 ST-TCR: TCR Touring Cars ST-Z: FIA GT4 (which will have actual participation this year!) ST-1: Production based cars with 3501cc displacement and above ST-2: 2001-3500cc, all-wheel drive ST-3: 2001-3500cc, two-wheel drive ST-4: 1501-2000cc ST-5: 1500cc and below And the schedule will be highlighted by the Fuji Super TEC 24 Hours on June 2-3: April 1: Suzuka Circuit (4h) April 29: Sportsland Sugo (3h x 2 groups) June 2-3: Fuji Super TEC 24h July 15: Autopolis (5h) September 23: Twin Ring Motegi (5h) November 4: Okayama International Circuit (3h x 2 groups) |
