When Brock drove for Volvo in Super Touring in 1996, this was frowned upon by the brass at Holden, yet they didn't seem to have any problems with TWR running Volvo's BTCC program or being involved with Benneton Ford in Formula 1 at the same time.

And of course TWR ran the factory Volvo attack on the 1998 AMP Bathurst 1000, which featured them competing against a factory backed Holden too!

The Brock thing was probably more to do with the fact it was Peter Brock himself, and wasn't this the catalyst for Holden actually signing Brock to a contract with the company, as previously he didn't have one (just with Mobil and the HRT race team itself?)

I really can't see Holden having a drama with WP running a Porsche, especially as GM has little involvement in GT3 racing on a world scale anyway.
