An interestin read but not quite accurate. The CRDA (Canadian Racing Drivers Association) turned the negotiating for the race over to Labatts and they wanted the race in Montreal. That is why we lost it. To this day I will not drink anything made by Labatts.

PS I was a member of the CRDA at that time.
