Shouldn't have jinxed it.... trouble for both Z4, the #77 suffered a puncture while the #76 had electrical issues. Both cars are back out...

And now the timing froze...

Timing froze at 6:35 into race.

Good to see the First Lambo creeping back up the order & loving that the Brokernet is still on the verge of the top 10

Also, Mansell Lotus leading GT4

Somehow the #76 seems to have retained the lead despite the short repair stop.

I´m not entirely sure how this is possible...maybe the timing is playing tricks on us.

I asked Milner and he said there was no electrical problem.

1 minute sounds like a pit violation (either that or mid race performance balancing lol)

Black Falcon Merc & AF Corse #4 still looking ominously good in the top 5.

WonkyDonky seems to have got its act together - current GT4 leader & in the top 20 overall.

That pig ugly Mustang still hanging in there also

Found out about this race by chance, about 3 hours after it started. This and the Daytona 24 make a great start to the year, endurance-wise, and make the huge gap between Petit Le Mans 2010 and Sebring 2011 that bit more bearable.

Shame there's no commentary and the timing's been dead for about an hour.

EDIT: Just as I post the above, the timing comes back to life again.

there is commentary on their main site http://live.24hseries.com
unfortunately, the audio levels mean engine noise drowns it out

Just 45 minutes to go and the #76 Schubert Motorsport BMW Z4 still maintains a rather comfortable seven-minute lead over the second placed SLS.

Looks like there won't be a Porsche on the podium as the AF Corse Ferrari is running third...

Congrats to #76 Need For Speed Schubert!

Another solid outing for the Merc SLS GT3 as well, podium finish!

Congrats to Tommy Milner and Claudia Hurtgen as well as Farfus and Sandstrom!

Thanks to everybody who participated in the chatroom during the 24h and the practice sessions since Wednesday.

Honorable mention and special thanks to our member Nightstalk3r who provided a website that contained all available webcams plus audio and the gps-app in only one place.

Be glad, until 2000 (?) their weekend was Thursday-Friday and in some countries it apperantly still is.

Now the Montecarlo Rally is one event where I seriously don't get the Wednesday through Friday timeslot...
