I can't believe who's on pole? I mean, who is Ralf Schumacher?

Ralf will drop to fourth at the start 2morrow so that he can drive into Montoya.

Looks like an exciting session. Shame about Sato, I wonder if BAR will start him from the pit lane. I would imagine it's worth the gamble to tank up and go for a 1 or 2 stopper with a fresh engine as we often see a safety car period in Montreal.

Some of this is down to the track - if you have lots of power or VERY good traction (a la Renault) you will do well here.

Ferrari may be running more fuel, but with so many cars ahead of them, I can't see them winning.

So what's the deal with Schumacher? Is the hot weather kicking in again? It'd be great to see someone else win for a change.

I thought Williams would do well here, considering the BWM's power, and Ralf has the stronger record here.

What happened to Sato, Massa and Bruni?

I doubt Ferrari lack of pace is due to heat - I doubt it'd be hotter than Bahrain, and the other Bridgestone guys are on their typical pace.

Good stuff form Klien -maybe Webber's heavier?

Bruni - some technical problem in pre-qual and qual.

Massa - puncture.

Sato - did a 360 in final corner, kept his head though and booted the power across the line.

Webber - scrappy lap, locking brakes all over the place

Are the Bridgestone tyres too soft, maybe they are graining badly?

Hs to be something like that or could michael be running on alot of fuel. If so it could pay off big in the race

That strategy only works with a clear run at the track.

He's got too many cars ahead of him.

But where on earth did the Williams pace come from... they were no where and i expected them to struggle quite badly...

Rs though has been good on this circuit!

You could be right here and looking at michaels pace i think he is carrying more fuel than anybody. All he has to do is stay with the pack and once they peel off into the pits for there stops he can then bang in quick laps

Problem with that is "the pack" in front of him have a variety of different speeds. He'll be held up while some can pull away.
