Paul V should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Goodwood Festival / Combe F3/GT date clash

How will this affect the Combe spectator numbers?

I was aiming to go to Goodwood on the Saturday this year - now it is back to the Friday, with Combe on the Sat/Sun.

I hope it doesn't spoil it too much.

I'm not sure if there is much substance to this thread. So, it is a date clash. I have loads of occasions in 2005 when I really wish I could be in two places at once.

To answer this question - I doubt it will make a jot of difference. People who want to watch some motorsport will go to Castle Combe - and let's not forget that the attendance there is down to a strong local following anyway.

I agree with you Ian.

Many of the people who go to Goodwood come from a more "classic car" background. Some are people new to the sporting side of things.

Combe is supported by those enthusiastic locals (and some not so local)

Rob.

They now both clash with A1 GP at Brands as well.(or rather vice versa if you get what I mean)

No - Goodwood FOS/Combe F3/GT are in June and A1 GP is in September (clashing with the Revival) I think Rod.
