Snetterton F3/GT - June 5/6

So who will be there for this one?

I have agreed to give Asp a lift to the circuit, and because that means I will be there nice and early I decided that I might as well make the Saturday my marshalling debut. Be a change from writing about the racing anyway.

Look forward to meeting some of you there!

Ian, come and say hello (and bring Asp with you), I'll be at the SRO truck from early on, and in the pit lane all weekend

Gutted that I am going to miss this - if for nothing more than I won't be able to get a hug off Jason!

Will be there on Sunday - as at Lydden Saturday - hopefully we will have some good racing. Claire I will try and catch up with you during the day sometime.

What a good weekend and a well-run meeting; virtually to time on Saturday and an early finish on Sunday. Today in particular was fairly incident free (at least at Coram, where my yellow flag didn't get much use) although the racing was good.

Nice to meet some of you over the weekend :-)

I enjoyed it as well, was on Riches and to start the day off having a TVR decide to dump the contents of his sump on the track, next thing you know TVR's going everywhere!

We also had a couple of visitors to the corn field and a couple in the gravel trap (one being punted off by his own team mate - opps)

A normal day at Riches!

Does that mean you may flap your yellow flag at the FPA meeting at Oulton next Saturday now then?

What a great opportunity for you to pen a piece in www.clubff1600.co.uk about the hoardes of NW FF1600 drivers who will be doing a days marshalling at this meeting. "It isn't as easy as we thought" could be the heading.

Not a bad meeting at all, exceptionally quiet (despite my best efforts with Pork Pies!), but some very good racing in many races.
Great to meet a few more tenthers over the weekend and even better to have an early finish on Sunday!! Only one problem - snetmarshal, can I borrow some of that aftersun?
See you all again soon

I enjoyed my weekend at Snetterton but have decided I'm more of a repellent than a "pork pie", I was at Riches and everytime we moved round the accident happened where I had just been!! I thought all the championships were very well behaved, had a couple of overtaking under yellows, the oil slick from the TVR and a few visitors that took a divert through the crops but on the whole but not as busy as I thought it would be.
Good to finally meet you Asp.

Diz, unfortunately I have a prior engagement at Trent Bridge on Saturday which is why I got my marshalling in a week earlier!
