The Tool Man should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
VIP Replaced Scott

I saw on RPM today that Tony Scott has been replaced at VIP ( Paragon) Petfoods Racing by Peter Doulman. I think hell be a good co driver for Mclean. Although whilst always a fan of John Cotter and Doulman I was always a fan of Scotty as well. But obviously a good move on Paragons Part

I would have liked to seen what Scott could have done at Bathurst this year, I haven't seen him race since AMP 1000 in 98. ANyone know what he's been up too

My understanding is Tony Scott was the one who pulled out, quite a while back. Doulman has been in the box seat since early May but McLean while look at other drivers before making the announcement on the weekend.

hmmmmmm , its a shame that Scotty has pulled out or been dumped or whatever as he is a very good and consistent driver, Doulman on the other hand while being very handy at times has never really done well in the V8's , but this could be a turning point for him and he could surprise everyone , I hope he does well for Cam and the paragon team as they havent had the best of seasons so far

While we're on the subject of the Scott family, whatever happened to Gary Scott?

I dont know, I didnt actually think gary and tony were Related.

Is garry the son of the late Glynn Scott ( Crash could prob answer that ?)?

I was told by a guy in a model ( Model Car, not girls ) Shop on the Gold Coast that he thought Garry Scott lived near by cause a guy keeps going in there that looks like him and for what ever reason Mike the shop owner thinks its him.

Gary Scott is Tony's brother and they are both the sons of Glynn Scott. From memory, Gary and Tony ran their father's business after he was killed, but when Gary was offered a drive with Nissan, they decided to sell up shop. IIRC, it was sold to Wayne Park.
