I have it on reasonable authority that it will be the "Fosters Challenge" as CUB don't sell VB in China, but FBI (Fosters Brewing International) their sister company, brew & sell the big red 'F' in China........ |

Shanghai is 2 hours behind Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane.
Shanghai is GMT + 8hrs, Syd/Melb/Bris is GMT + 10hrs |

The program seems ok... just as long as the teams dont take away sweet and sour memories...

Another meeting where the feature act of proceedings isnt the last event of the day....
If this round was scheduled here, the carpark would be empty by the time the Carrera Cup cars gridded up..... |

A container of Tyres (owned by Dunlop) is much easier to get freighted back out again. If the Chinese impound the race cars & equipment, as security for the impending $9 million debt from last years failed China venture, AVE$$CO have a lot of explaining to do to the teams, especially those that have been reluctant to go there all along. I am led to believe that the only viable alternative has stated they can be ready with only 3 weeks notice......... A May 30 notification, for a June 17, 18, 19 Race-meeting. No as far-fetched as some would have you believe, as the viable alternative are very keen to assist AVE$$CO in it's potential time of crisis, rather than Poo-Poo them. I have it on good authority that most of the teams prefer the local delicacy of Pink Lamb & Purple Shiraz, a hell of a lot more than pickled hens feet......... |

A word of warning though, the syntax errors from Chinese to English make for some very funny reading....... Nice to see Douglas Adams lives on @ AltaVista Last edited by Uncle Cranker; 24 May 2005 at 20:29. Reason: adding more stuff. |

I reckon it is on. In AA today thaey have a pic of Rick kelly's car from testing last week in the Buick livery and that is what it's going to race as at Eastern Creek. They said this was due to the timings between Eastern Creek and the China round.
