Color code

I wonder if there's anyone out there who knows the color code of the Prost Acer 01?

What exactly do you mean by the colour code? If you mean the colour of the car, it was blue, but otherwise I'm not sure what you want to know. Could you clarify your question a bit?

What I'm looking for, is the RAL or Glasurit-code on the blue color. Every color have it's own code. Why I want this special blue color, is because I saw this car live at Spa last year and it looked super!! so I intend to repaint my motorcycle in this color.

Actually , now im thinking about it , Im sure PIAGGIO ( the scooter Manufactuer ) make their own Prost Livery'd Scooter . Just like paddock Scooters you see the drivers using to get them around the paddock . Maybe worth checking out Piaggio website or a dealer or something , as they will have the paint colour number your looking for .

if getting the code for the prost was anything like getting the code from Benneton, then you stand no chance. Simply teams spend millions of pounds developing paint that 'looks good on TV' and they don't like to make it common knowledge. My team colours where almost the same as the Benneton but when I faxed them for details I got back a rather abrupt letter telling me "i could not use the same paint" so I just went and found a close match.

Good luck

Hmm, seems like a good idea to contact Peugeot. After all, they're french and I'm might be a little bit easier now when Prost , what a shame..., is out of business.
Thank you all, for helping me out with this problem!

Anybody who is any good with paint could get a close match with a sample piece in the color desired.

Talking about colors, do you know that Ferrari's color since their main sponsor is not even red?
Believe it or not it's orange with just a bit of red in it.

Yer, it's Marlboro Red as opposed to Ferrari Red, very tragic, goes to show how much weight sponsers carry in this day and age of F1, Old Man Ferrari would not be very pleased with the colour change imo!
