Great stuff- good to see some of these lovely beasts still actively raced. The 'Telaio' numbers you mention- these are chassis numbers by any chance?

In 1988 Alfa developed a special 75 evo version called IMSA for participating
in the 9th edition of the 'Giro d'Italia' a 1828 km race and rally event throughout Italy. Three cars entered the start, the Patrese-Biasion-
Siviero car took first place and the Loubet-Guerrero car became second. In 1989 the Francia-Cerrato-Cerri car won the tenth edition. Today one of these IMSA's remains at the Alfa museum.

As you mentioned Yves Loubet- going back a couple of years, his Rothmans-backed Group A GTV6 rallycar was replaced by a 75:

As a matter of fact - four variations of the Alfa 75 was homologated

Alfa Romeo Alfa 75 Quadrifoglio
A5300 / 1986.05.01-1996.12.31 / 2492.5 cc

Alfa Romeo Alfa 75 Turbo
A5307 / 1986.08.01-1996.12.31 / 1762.0 cc x 1.4 = 2466.8 cc
From 1988: 1762.0 cc x 1.7 = 2995.4 cc

A5326 / 1987.02.01-1996.12.31 / 1962.0 cc

That's an interesting statistic Jesper!!

Most marques hologate one version of one type of model at any time, not four!!!!

I guess the early 2.5 and then the Turbo were mainly for International competition purposes, but the others for domestic purposes mainly?

Guess you could be right about domestic needs. The Italian C.I.V.T. catered for a multitude of classes based on group A and N during the 75 period, but how classes were divided is beyond me.

The 3.0 was used at Spa '88 as mentioned earlier and I know of a pair of group N+ versions in Spain in the early 1990's. As for the 2.0, this version was used in the Dutch touring car series at the same time, also running to a group N'ish rule set. Rallyes might also have been a consideration, as a two litre break was quite common. A weight limit of 880 kg (860 kg from Jan 1988) might be a bit optimistic of the 2.0, but who knows.

What is the restored 010/#79 supposed to represent. I can find Jean-Louis Schlesser and Jacques Laffite partnering at the 1987 Nürburgring - where 006 was debuted - and again at Spa a short while later, where Paolo Barilla was added.

On another note, I don't remember the black splitter below the front spoiler in period pictures...

I have found some technical info on the 010 chassis.

The black splitters are not original, but with the modern tires being able of much higher load/speed it's a good improvement.

Jesper, you are correct, pretty sure the car was owned by a guy whose surname was White. Will need to look into that and also see if I have a shot of him.

One of thes turned up in the Alfa Romeo Championship in the UK in 1990. Not sure if it was a turbo or 3 litre, but it was an ETCC spec car driven by Piero Pesaro

Chassisnr 28

Some documentation says there are only the first(?) 25 Evo Cars (of 500) have been rebuild by Alfa Corse as original racecars. Chassinr 1, they say, has been used for testing purposes.

I saw in the forum the chassisnr of Bob vd Sluis (29?) and recently I spotted a chassisnr 28. The chassisnr 28 is stamped on a small plate and not as a nr in the chassis itself as I have seen in some original cars.

Does someone know how chassisnrs 28 and 29 fits in the mentioned 25 cars?

It's the Kuno Schar car that's referred to as chassisnr 029 in a previous post. Bob v/d Sluis' car has the 026 number. Even that is remarkable taking into account the 25 batch which is often mentioned in several historical data/articles.

So I'm also very curious if someone can clarify this. I'm also very interested if someone can tell us more about the 75 Evoluzione Group A cars that were used in the Italian hill climbing and rallys.

Only in the often quoted article "The 75 : A real racing family" the production number 25 is mentioned. BUT the article says : 'until now there have been 25 chassis' so it is not the definite production number.

The article would be written in around 1990 (my guess, which would mean the 75 was still in use as Alfa Romeos main choice of car for the CIVT for another two years.
Just remembered that the 155 Q4 for 1993, was homologated by the Italian ASN as an evolution of the 75 Turbo!

Jesper, I think you mean 1992. That year Alfa started with the 155 GTA in the CIVT.

chassisnr 28

I saw the 75 with chassisnr 28 in Italy in may 2008 when I visited Scuderia del Portello. I done't know if they own the car or if they have the car in mantenance for a customer. I have some pictures of the car, including the chassisnr.
