Lead Audi Sport driver and top candidate for ALMS Driver's Champion Alan McNish has turned down offers for LeMans next year to concentrate on his testing duties for Toyota. He will however drive a Ferrari 333SP at next years Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona alongside Eric van de Poele and Ralf Kelleners for crack outfit Risi Competizione. This will be McNish's third attempt at the Rolex with Risi Competizione with a second place their best result.
