Since qualifying was rained out, I took the fast speed and slow speed from the combined practice sessions yesterday to determine our results. Mutoh had the fastest practice lap, so I counted him for the fast qual lap driver.

Everyone but drewdawg picked Dixon on pole for 2 pts.

drewdawg was closest to the avg speed: 184.941 vs. drew's 184.162

No one had Mutoh as fast lap

Daisy was closest to he single lap speed: 184. 941 vs. Daisy''s 184.017

In the Top Three Rows, NAC and Penguin had 10 pts each, ProRacer had 9, Peno, Alwaysfirst and drdisque had 8 each, daisy and drewdawg had 7 pts and Captain had 5 pts.

Peno, Alwaysfirst and drdisque all had Roth as the slow qualifier (he's last on the grid) for 2 pts.

Daisy, Penguin and drdisque all got 1 pt. each onthe "Just Miss" for selecting a driver who was in the top six.

Standings thus far:

1. NAC - 14 pts.
2. Penguin - 13 pts.
(tie) drdisque - 13 pts.
4. Peno - 12 pts.
(tie) Daisy - 12 pts.
(tie) Alwaysfirst - 12 pts.
6.ProRacer - 11 pts.
7. drewdawg - 9 pts.
8. OpenWheel - 8 pts.
9. CaptainCrunch - 7 pts.

Good Luck today!

Here are your Iowa results:

Only Drewdawg picked Wheldon for 2 pts.
In the top five, NAC had 3 pts and everyone else but Alwaysfirst, drdisque and Captain had 2 pts...those named had 1 pt. each

No one had Briscoe for the fast lap

drewdawg was closest to the speed: Actual-184.005 drew-182.415

In the milestones, Drew got 4 pts. and Peno & ProRacer got 2 pts. each.

No one had AJ IV as the "Mover - up 13 spots

I counted Roth, Bruno and Duno for the "Fall" and Peno, OpenWheel, and Alwaysfirst scored 2 pts. each

drdisque was closest ot the avg. speed: Actual-136.007 dr-138.304

It came to a tiebreaker, and Peno won over drewdawg by being closest to the avg. speed:

Actual - 136.007 Peno -140.091 drew-131.451...about half mph closer

Iowa results:

6. Thepenguin - 15 pts.
(tie) ProRacer - 15 pts.
8. Daisy - 14 pts.
(tie) OpenWheel - 14 pts.
10. Captain - 8 pts.

I'll post Richmond tomorrow...Good luck!

Alwaysfirst should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Are those results including this weekends qualifying results as I had 100 points after Texas & I still have only 116, even though I scored 28 this weekend...

If I'm wrong then I'm sorry! It's late & I could just be being stupid...

You only scored 16 pts this weekend Alwaysfirst...12 on quals and only 4 in the race portion.

drew & peno both tied for the win with 19 pts each for the weekend.

no one really scored well in the race portion of the contest this weekend.

You aren't stupid...I just think that you confused the 16 pt. total for the weekend and misinterpreted it as 16 pts for the race portion of the scoring.

When I do the scoring, I give the quals results so everyone will know where they stand going into the race. The race results include the points from quals so that everyone can see how they did without doing a separte total for race portion of the contest, then another post that adds up the totals from each for the weekend.

I hope that makes sense to everyone.
