Correct, has made a few crucial mistakes and some of the dicing and panel banging at Sandown did not augur well for a podium finish there, let alone at Bathurst.

As do many of us. Just letting those who have it know. great summary of 2006, especially with the Brock and Porter stories in the back ground

That kid has the right respect and awe for what he's able to do, and he has earned it.

I for one will really be rooting for a top 10 for him. I think that would be a bit of a fairy tale, but stranger things have happened and BJR can try some tricky strategy at times.

Am I the only one hoping for a really good showing, and for Todd to be in the CoolDrive car next year?

Brought back memories that one Pecky, Porter went in right in front of us and we knew straight away it wasn't good.
Shed a few tears at the tribute at the start and a fair few at the finish too.

I hope for that too, but fear Macca might get the drive next year.

In recent history 21 has had some respectable runs on the mountain

They did a great job of showing the emotion i reckon.

Fortunately no fatalities since. But i reckon we went close in 2015 with the Chaz crash. It was the next time the mountain had that really quiet feeling that it gets with big incidents

Was on the mountain when Pither ran into the side of a stationary Paul Weel.
The noise was frightening.

Think it was 2008. At the time I thought Paul was in desperate trouble......

Not related to the Porter incident but Moffat in his new book displays a very different emotion to the death of a driver at a race track.

Everyone reacts to these things differently.

The first motor race I took my future wife to was a autumn day in 1995 at Phillip Island.....she knew next to nothing about motor racing and asked does someone always die?

Fortunately these days it is a rarity.

If you were gonna buy into a team, would you sponsor a different one?

The BJR livery looks better!

Maybe Boost are hoping for a good finish hence the Percat backing.

Gotta agree that the BJR car looks better even though they're quite similar.

WPS had the same livery as the safety car at one time.

Never saw them together though as the SC was usually on track while the WPS car was in the sand...............
