08 FRC Penultimate round The Petit Le Mans

We have reached a nexus of the Penultimate rounds of the ALMS season and our own Fantasy Racing Competition.
This, arguably, being the best round.

Continued luck to all!

If you have not read through the rules and information thread, please do so, as the format is somewhat unique. Your submission should include your pole prediction for each class along with your pick(s) for each class winner. Reminder: You can pick from one to three cars for your class winning choice. I have no set format for submitting your picks as long as it is easy to follow. A submission for P1 might look like this:

P1
Pole: Audi #2
Win: Audi #1, Peugeot #7, Pescarolo #16

A submission for GT1 might look like this:

Pole: #59 Aston Martin
Win: #72 Corvette

All predictions should be in by 14:30 local time Friday, Oct, 3rd
(22:30 BST). The deadline is 55 minutes prior to qualifying.

Nick49 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello

No-one seems very keen to predict on this one, which is understandable as I think its a very difficult one to predict. I can well believe the Peugeot will take pole in LMP1 but whether they last the distance is another thing. LMP2 is just as difficult. In fact apart from GT1, all the classes are a lottery.

Anyway here's my predictions.

LMP1
Pole - 07 Peugeot
Win - 1 Audi

LMP2
Pole - 26 Andretti Green Racing Acura ARX (Montagny speed should ensure this)
Win - 7 Penske Motorsports Porsche RS Spyder (experience counts here)

GT1
Pole - 3 Corvette Racing Corvette C6.R
Win - 3 Corvette Racing Corvette C6.R

GT2
Pole - 62 Risi Competizione Ferrari F430 GT (Salo and Melo are probably the fastest crew in this class)
Win - 45 Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche 997 GT3 RSR

The biggest problem the GT crews will have is getting punted off by the LMP cars and spoiling their race.

Nick
