Garage 59 is exactly the same as Von Ryan: a McLaren factory team by a different name, as there is no such thing as factory teams in GT3... Suposedly.

G59 will run full Blancpain GT, GT Open, and GT Cup with multiple cars using a selection of factory drivers.

MRS GT is a completely separate 2 car McLaren entry, it is likely to have decent support from McLaren but is most definitely a customer effort.

With Mclarens current pool of factory drivers and academy drivers, it looks like Rob Bell and Come Ledogar will lead the Garage 59 effort likely with the likes of Andrew Watson in tow, maybe MRS GT will be given one or both of the new academy boys- Alex Fontana and Struan Moore, although the they are both inexperienced. Maybe Parente will be thrown in to support as he currently only has his PWC announced programme with the Lizards.

Interesting line in the AF Corse story on S365, that AF Corse are expected to field a car in "each of the three classes" in Blancpain this year; I think I'm right in saying it would be a first time ever for them to enter in the Pro class, which could be very interesting indeed if true.

Have seen it elsewhere they intend to enter Pro for the first time also, and that Pro entry will be in BOTH Endurance and Sprint.

Team RJN also joining Sprint with two Nissan's...

On a side note, does anyone know if Boutsen Ginion are doing Sprint as well as Endurance?

I've lost track of who's doing which championship now - but the grids for both endurance and sprint do seem to be pretty good. It looks like the changes to the regs have worked for boosting the sprint entries certainly.

Audi only have two worms cars for Spa, both with different teams? Two makes sense but the different teams is strange to me.

Well, they have confirmed they are fielding cars mostly just no driver announcements yet....

As always though, nothing's certain until the grid walk...

Also, Shane Van Gisbergen has just been confirmed as McLaren Factory Driver again for 2016, no programme confirmed yet but I gotta guess its BES with the Garage 59 factory-ish effort

Steady on Roger! I don't like pseudo-factory GT3 efforts as much as the next person but that seems a bit harsh

They may not want to be seen to play favourites with the two teams involved, as both are good ambassadors for Audi.

Seems a little odd, WRT will have 2-3 cars in the full Blancpain Series, figured this is just referring to solely factory funded efforts and not total team efforts... Otherwise are they meant to drop down to just one car for their biggest race of the year?

46 in enduro, a massively improved 36 in Sprint

So interesting lineups for WRT, be interesting to see how little brother Vanthoor performs, likewise how Mr Alburquerque does back in GT3.

Jiminez over from team Brazil so curious to see who replaces him.

Leonard expected after his Sepang win.

Thanks Bcarr6 for your effort with the lists

The Sprint Series looks to be a lot better supported then last year. This years Blancpain Series should be another cracker season.

with that entry list the sprint series will be the most amazing sprint format GT series worldwide! we are about the same quality level of 2012 ADAC GT... such a shame that there will be only 5 rounds.
