Season will start this weekend, and we still don't know who will be the 16th driver (and almost zero chance to a 17th).

Oh yes, so it does. Time for Volvo to remove that testing ballast

I don't know if this is the good thread for this kind of question (if not, please show me the correct): did anybody knows anything about the Monza schedule? There is a flight from Milano at sunday late in the evening, and I need to know if I can reach it - it's mainly depends on when the main race ends.

Here attached you can find the whole Monza timetable, toto92

By the way, sunday races are at 12:15 (Opening Race) and at 14:15 (Main Race).

But at least the European Formula 3 race at 15:15 would be a big pity to miss. After that there will be at 16:15 the French Formula 4 race 3 to end the day.

From which Milan airport will you flight?

Thank you Meanwhile I also find it (imho it's totally logically that it isn't in the event's page...)

If I go to the race, I will flight from Malpensa.

Are you sure (London to a brick) that there is a second Lada ready to race?

It's early days, but Monteiro doing everything required of a championship win so far. Norbi and Huff with bad luck and Volvos taking points off each other.

If I understand well the local news, the WTCC has no contract to go to Macau. That is a severe setback.

Don't blow your own trumpet François...

To be honest, last years races were an anomaly. The shake up with the organisation of the event meant that the FIA had a greater part in running it. I believe they sabotaged the races in an attempt to make TCR look bad and to increase the chances of their own series returning. And, yes, I really do think that the FIA are that petty.

WTCC's current promoters have seemingly missed an open goal by not securing their place in the event 100%. That lot couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery.

A light purse makes a heavy heart and comparing to Nurburgring Nordschleife, Macau is pretty exciting. Losing Macau, after the big announcement, will hit Eurosport Events reputation. If they have any left...

Aye, now there's a proper championship fight on between Volvo, Honda and Huff I'll certainly be paying closer attention. I was maybe even thinking an extension of these rules for another season?

That's a rather odd place. Drivers taking the joker-section will have to brake much harder, right on the ideal line into the normal course. Basically, if you're right behind someone taking the joker lap you might as well take it right away as well because you'll be heavily comprimised...

Imho the chicane section wouldv'e made more sense in the 2nd part of the roundabout, creating two equally fast entries.
