"Sports Car Series"=Interserie?
10/10th never fails to amaze me.Not sure if this is the right forum but this morning I seem to have discovered a whole new european racing series.Closed thread in a 'press release' forum gives details of a meeting at Hockenheim last weekend. Can we have a link to details of previous rounds?

Interserie Official Website
The series is so brand new that it is best known for Leo Kinnunen in a 917, it was kind of a European CanAm in the 70ies. Results from 1970 Besides showcasing fullgrown sportscars, entered by privateer teams with a "home base" in the Endurance World and European Championships and DRM (Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft; Group 5,6 and later GroupC), it also attracted F1/IndyCar chassis with bodywork attached to cover the wheels. Nowadays it is planned to act as such a "schedule filler" again for teams participating in the LMES. |

Forget the previous posts, I just noticed your veteran status.
You were talking of the Sportscar Challenge. SCC and Interserie co-hosted at least one race last year, if I recall correctly, but are independent organisations. Results at gt-eins.de. SCC allows also monopostos in addition to sportscars. |

The Sports Car Challenge and Interseries did cooperate for a short while but have since gone their separate ways.
www.sportscarchallenge.at and www.interserie.org Interserie is mostly about single seaters these days, SCC also has a monoposto class but predominantly sportscar fields. It will be like this even more next year. |

Incidentally, if you have any questions about the SCC then contact presseATsportscarchallenge.at
(replace AT with @ - you know the spiel ) |
