Hewland LD200 Gearbox Cut-Away

Those of you who may have bought an LD200 box from Hewland or acquired a second hand one may have received a parts and maintenance manual with it with parts drawings.
You may also have seen some of my paintings I have posted here on ten-tenth's but my training was as a Technical Illustrator and here is one I did for Hewland in 1988 as part of the LD200 manual. There were 6 or 7 'exploded' illustrations within the manual if I remember correctly.
Mark Bailey now of MBR was working at Hewland at the time and I liaised the project with him and produced the illustrations while working at Ensign Publications. These were done from the working blueprint drawings but I also had the casing to measure and sketch from.
These are nearly all done on the computer these days which I also managed to pick up but it was great fun to hand draw something like this and see it come together. The original artwork was A2 size.

Perhaps a PM to the user in question would be better than digging up a 5 year old thread

I wanted to do exactly that job when I left school, It was a dieing art then, and I became a (proper) draughtsman instead, another dead art!

I'd equally like a hewland lashed to a 1650 precrossflow for my mid engined MK1 Cortina project . . . .one day !!!
