Mr Pink should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ontario Roval (fifth round of the 1971 Can-Am series)

In the early seventies the Can-Am series was at its best with McLarens, Porsches and Lolas batteling it out for the overall victory.

For the 1971 season it was decided that the series needed a Rocal where the monstrous cars could demonstrate their power and corner speed. Because of this the officials decided to ditch the Mid-Ohio race for one at the newly built Ontario Motor Speedway, witch despite its name was located among the vineyards east of LA.

Since the track was newly built it could easily be addapted for Can-Am.

The track starts of with one of the oval corners followed by a hairpin. After this there´s a double-apex corner and a section of esses wich are really important to get good speed at the backstraight.

The backstraight is followed by a pretty slow chicane and two long, sweeping
corners. Then there´s a section of really fast corners and a hairpin leeding to the last corner wich the last corner of the oval.

The Oval is 4.023 km so the Roval should be around 5.5-6 km.

Was this supposed to go in my thread, if not it could go there

It looks good, I'd rather that when they built OMS that it was unique rather than a carbon copy of Indy which it was except the short straights were banked to try and make it faster then Indy.
