Meanwhile the Peter organisation is in the final stage of introducing two classic events to the calender for next year, of which at least one will see a type of car that we hardly get to see these days in real action (apart from the Goodwood FoS )

The biggest surprise for me was how quickly the Escort went early on. I was down at Club, and have pictures of it overtaking the Matra, AND the 935K3. Mind you, I guess the Porker wasn't well, as it dropped right back, then disappeared for a few laps.

We had quite a collection of dead cars down there at one point.
The Capri sadly pulled up, with smoke from under the bonnet, one of the 911s just stopped working, and pulled off, and they were joined by the Coors M1, for a while. The driver of the BMW jumped out, popped the engine cover, fixed something, and got going again.
