Well, it all kicks off this week, anyone care to guess who the final two drivers will be, surely Canamasas will be in at Trident?

Canamasas already confirmed. It makes me wonder where the money comes from for all these GP2 seasons. Reminds me of Fabrizio Gollin back in F3000 days - a lot of money spent to run in the midfield. Is it "Faca" who sponsor Canamasas? What do they do?

Hyman probably favourite for the Campos seat seeing as all things Merhi have gone quiet. Can't think of anyone else in the frame

That's really surprising with Coletti. But I don't think that move will be very successful. I really hoped he could be successful in IndyCar...

What does that have to do with my comment? Besides, Chilton is an extremely low bar to clear.

Coletti doing this doesn't exactly get the mouth watering does it!

I am guessing that Campos want someone experienced in the car to help out whichever numbskull with a corporations worth of funding is in the 2nd seat?

It's Ralf Boschung in the other car. I'm not expecting him to provide any fireworks but he's more qualified than many who have raced GP2/F2 before.

He's alright, in GP3 for the past two years he regularly finished on the edge of the points, had a podium in 2015 and even a win last year in Austria.
Maybe not a Leclerc/Albon/Fuoco/De Vries, but OK and better than Armand, Jeffri or De Jong.

What the hell is the FIA doing?

o- An 18 year old like Stroll can't jump two classes straight into F1 just because we won F3.
o- A 18 year old like Sérgio Sette Câmara can't skip a class up to F2 after two mediocre years.
o- An F3 runner-up like Günther can't get stuck in F3, while a driver like Kari jumps to GP3 after one mediocre year in F3.
o- A driver like Dennis can't be relegated to F3 after placing 4th in GP3.

Why not? Budgets are part of the game, what's wrong? If they shouldn't have made the leap, it will show, and likewise if they can swim in the deep end then what is wrong? Why limit opportunity?
