Is there anyone now that honestly thinks the FIA is a neutral, fair organization?

This is beyond disgraceful. Shocking.

As usual Ferrari gets what it wants. As usual nobody is allowed to compete with them. As usual the rules are bent so anyone with the temerity to beat Ferrari fair and square is ****ed.

Disgrace. An absolute, total, utter disgrace.

It is time for the F1 teams to pull out of Monza en masse. If Ferrari want to win that much then let them. Run a rival race somewhere else and let baby have their ickle toys.

**** you, Ferrari. **** you, FIA.

*facepalm*.

Who wants my ticket/flight/hotel reservation for Monza? Really can't be buggered with this now.

Unbelievable...

The FIA will only be happy when everyone is "following" each other round behind the Fiats

I don't think it is so biased, Hamilton should not have gained ANY advantage from cutting the chicane ... so allowing Kimi through *just enough* to be in his slipstream and pass is still an advantage.

Hamilton should have waited, no doubt he'd have been past anyway.

When the incident happened I had a gut feeling it may come back to haunt Lewis at the end.

But seriously, how does cutting a chicane warrant a 25 second penalty. The most you could gain out of that is a second or two in the dry maybe.

I am shocked that the stewards have handed this penalty out, and would fully expect McLaren to protest.

Had Lewis not cut the chicane, I still think the result of the race would of been the same.

A terrific race is now left tarnished.

Total disgrace. A race that was a fantastic advert for F1 turns into shambles and I have to say organised cheating. My patience has run out and I will watch no more. I hope above all else that Hamilton wins the championship.
He won today fair and square, in fact brilliantly in the end, but you can't beat the Mafia!

I've never been so disillusioned with the sport as I am at this moment.

Despite this, can I remind everyone to keep their responses clean? Otherwise, I'll have to spend ages editing and that'll make me even more miserable.

cant quite work out where hamilton was supposed to go when pushed wide by kimi? he had to take to the grass, gave back whatever 'advantage' he had gained. cant quite work out how he was in the wrong, no advantage was gained as kimi accelerated quicker out of the final corner (evident as he was overtaken by kimi....)

what else was lewis supposed to do????

did anyone else skip the chicane in the race and were they handed a similar penalty?

Absolutely unbelieveable. "F1 is officially a farce" <<< agree completely

Can McLaren appeal? Will they actually bother?

Why wasn't whatshisname punished for his involvement in the Webber incident? :/

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, pretty bad.

I must say that i remarked after the incident that Hamilton got away with it because, though he let Raikonnen back in front, just, he clearly gained a huge advantage from his excursion.

Having said that subsequent events rendered he excursion irrelevant so shame on you FIA.

He didn't cut the chicane he was forced off the road. The FIA insist on tarmac run off and then penalise drivers who use it. Kimi was about 100 metres off the track at Pouhon and carried more speed than Lewis who stayed on the track. I'm trying to make rational arguments, but I'm so angry.

Do McLaren have the right to appeal ? The stewards decision has no merit what so ever.

Massa and Ferrari get a fine for their 'dangerous' pitsop exit.
Hamilton and McLaren get a time penalty and stipped of win..... BIAS ? Says it all really doesn't it. As a fan I feel totally cheated. F1 is clearly fixed ..

No, you're wrong. Kimi had the line and Hamilton made a mistake, clearly cutting the chicane, clearly against the rules. There was no way of geting round cleanly there.
