woodyracing should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2001 ELMS @ Donington Park

Anyone know where I can find the entry list (with car numbers) for the 2001 ELMS race at Donington ?
I have the program but it doesn't show the car numbers for the race.

Thanks
Woody

Here's the result - the car numbers are the digits between the first driver and the car make.

I don't think I've got a record of any non-starters, but if you find any I'll see what my database can come up with for entry numbers for other rounds during the year.

That was a great race. Did I meet you there, woody? I was there with Bluebottle, Hurricane and TimD.

There was a second Ascari (car 4- Patrick Lemarie/Klaas Zwart/Harri Toivonen, but it broke before qualifying so non-started.

The original entry list also included a few no-shows including second Barbour Reynard- which wasn't ready in time- and a second Pilbeam

When looking up the picture I could find very little info adout the Scorpion Car, looks like it was designed as a C1/2, did it ever race in Grp C and what has happened to it now.

I found that black and white photo on THIS page.

I took my photo at a donington group C meeting, not sure if that car raced though as I dont have the program.

I couldn't find much info either on the Scorpion. But at least i know what it is now.

There's only one "r" in "Villaroel" - he used to run in Spanish touring cars, and had his name labelled in white in the back window a la BTCC. That usually gets spelled right!

Although I seem to recall touring car windows with variations of Odor and O'Dor, and Pinkney or Pinckney...
