Moto GP, Round 17 - Estoril
Two races to go. Lorenzo vs. Stoner vs. Rossi for the last two race wins.
Checa in, Kallio out at the last two rounds. I think he wont do much better... 125 still looks interesting. Oh yeah, how bout some posting in here for once? |

it has been postponed and every grid will set up by free practice times so Euro sport has to fill the 3.10pm slot.

Superglue mullahed his tyres going toi quick, too soon I reckon. Although I'm sure the handlebars didn't help. What a race tho, pleased for Baldolini and Bradl, DeAngelis class showed thru for third, but what a battle - good runs from aegeurter, de Rosa, redding and if course the oft maligned Westy. Stunning!

Interesting race for 3rd spot, but when Stoner fell off I just knew it was going to be boring for 1st. Can he do it on a Ducati ? that's the million dollar question !

Well, the race for 1st was a bit anticlimactic. I thought it was going to be a tussle, but once Lorenzo went past it just got dull. Thankfully the race for 3rd was good.
Latest release says Spies will try and race at Valencia, but more importantly he wants to be able to test. Possible early bow for Crutchlow me thinks. Moto 2 and 125s were epic. |

Marcs win in 125 was more than epic, another sign of his Alien status I think. I wish a Moto GP team would sign him up on a long term deal, I assume he will go to Moto2, which sort of makes it a race for 2nd now, but I would laugh if as had been suggested he stayed in 125 for the last year, that would foil the plans of Apar/Terol/Bancaja.

Stoner is a bit win or crash right now! LIke Iannone
Bit hard the comments for Kenan, he had no dry running time and the team probably got the setup wrong for dry. Redding was excellent, as was Marques in 125, he is definately the next alien. West was riding for a contract, as were the likes of Bradl, Aergeter and loads in that race, was a setup lottery. |

Did you see Marques 2nd start? 17th to 5th is like Gilles Villeneuve... the boy is simply unreal. Like Alzamora cutaway during the podium, he was holding back the waterworks with his Mrs in a similar state. I hope the Ayo team get to step up to Moto2 next year with him, currently Dorna want them to stay in 125 and aren't giving them an entry, allegedly.

You cant refuse someone an entry anyway,
they can refuse AJO an entry into Moto2 if the grid is already subscribed though. I would imagine it will be with a lot of teams going up to 2 riders. |

They ain't on the first draft of the list, but there's still a few more spaces to be assigned.

Danny Kents manager Roger Burnett has apparently arranged a deal for him to ride a 'good' Aprilia next year, team TBA. Danny Webb meanwhile is wanted by Aspar but not Bancaja etc. It's a shame Kent isn't hooking up with Barthols KTM trojan horse project next year, he's young enough to gamble a year on something different. Then again he's test ridden it so maybe its pony.. He looks, given his showings on an old Italian Honda labelled as a Lambretta, to be a very good prospect.
