Hagis should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ginetta G 12

About the Peter Creasey G 12 (Ch # 21), it was "resting" for many years in Lincs. It had had a Climax 2 litre engine but was less engine before it was sold to Sweden about 20 years ago. There it got a C/F engine, and after some years it was sold to Switzerland. I don´t know if it was then sold to Japan in recent years, but it sounds headless to chop off the roof of an historic car.
Otherwise, didn´t Brian Baker race a G 12 in the 70ies that was less roof?
Best regards, Hagis

I have a picture with the Brian Baker G12 in the background that was taken in 1970. The car still had its roof then.

I have been researching Walter Fluckiger as he was 1st owner of my Lotus 35. In 1963 he hill climbed a Lola Mk1 at Ollon Villars, Then an Elan.

By 4th June 67 he was down to drive a 997cc Lotus but DNa'd
18th June 69 he is in a G12 at Hockenheim, and was 3rd in it at Ulm-Laupheim.
Again DNA'd the G12 at Hockenheim on 24th May 70.

Does anyone know his current location/contact details ??

I am trying to find out if he brought his red Lotus 35 back to Europe after the 1966 Temporada series.

I bought it as a chassis and body with front suspension from John Greasley in about 1976. Greasley had removed the engine, box and rear suspension to graft onto a rallycross imp.

I fiddled about building it back up again but had to sell it a year later when I moved house. I've long since forgotten who I sold it to but it's one of the bigger regrets in my life, not least because it will be worth a small fortune now!
I have David Render entered at Santa Pod, 3rd Internationals, 8/9 July 1972, driving a Ginetta Buick 4,444 c.c.

I believe John Burton once had a Martin V8 in his G12. Does anyone have any knowledge of it?

From 1975 until 1987 I owned, rebuilt and eventually raced G12 number 25. I fitted it with an original Cosworth SCA. During that time I was friends with David Dawson who bought and rebuilt a G12 which I believe was the ex-David Render G12. He fitted a Twincam. Unfortunately I don't know when, or to whom, he sold it.

Between 1975 and 1987 I owned, rebuilt and raced G12 chassis 25. I bought it as a rolling chassis and fitted a Cosworth SCA. At around that time I knew a David Dawson from Hertfordshire who also had a G12 which I believe was the ex David Render car. He rebuilt it and fitted a Twincam.
