Confirmation of Highcroft to P1
Well i just needed a dramatic title but we can probably confirm Higcrofts move to P1
P2 cannot have to pro drivers according to the new rules for 2011. That means higcroft drops brabs or pagenaud. The more likely sit is a move to P1 |

Yeah, this thread should be closed or at least paused until Highcroft themselves confirm they will be back for 2011. I'm guessing most if not all of us feel Duncan will find a way to be back but when I clicked on the thread I was anticipating the release about them committing to the ALMS for 2011.

Right now, the only thing that we have is a confirmation that the Acura/HPD ARX-01E exist, but beyond that, everything's just a guess.
As with the Audi R15 thread, perhaps it's best that we let this play out before we all go nuts over it. |

All we can assume is that if Highcroft is in the ALMS next year, It'll be as an LMP1 team (all pro driver lineup and a desire to contend for overall wins), but beyond that, nothings known aside from the fact that the ARX-01e exists, but we know next to nothing about it, and it seems that Highcroft hasn't found a new primary sponsor yet.
But right now, everything is an "if", though it's highly likely Highcroft will be in the ALMS next year in some form "if" backing can be found for a full season LMP1 effort. |
