British Gp - Brans Hatch
French Gp - Le Mans Belgian Gp - Spa Francorchamps Turkish Gp - Istanbul Japanese Gp - Suzuka Chinese Gp - Shanghai American Gp - Laguna Seca Brazilian GP - Interlagos Italian Gp - Monza German Gp - Hockenheim (old version) Monte Carlo Gp - Monaco Canadian Gp - Montreal Australian Gp - Adelaide Spanish GP - Jerez The F1 season is far too long imo, 15-17 races is enough. |

i cant believe we are already talking about 2010
well since i dont know much about the future i will go by a movie of the same name and predict a race on the moon thereby removing the need for all those fancy aero devices and force the teams to focus soley on mechanical grip or would they need more aero in space? |

It depends how far you want to delve into fantasy in predicting a 2010 F1 calander, for realistically the likes of Brands Hatch, Donington, Jerez and the 'old' Hockenheim will feature on a Formula 1 schedule.
For what its worth, I predict the following events (in no particular order): 1. Australian GP (Albert Park) 2. Malaysian GP (Sepang) 3. Bahrain GP (Sakir) 4. Catalunya GP (Barcelona) 5. Spanish GP (Valencia) 6. US GP (Indianapolis) 7. Las Vegas GP (Las Vegas) 8. Canadian GP (Montreal) 9. British GP (Silverstone) 10. German GP (Hockenheim/Nurburgring) 11. French GP (Magny Cours) 12. Hungarian GP (Budapest) 13. Belgian GP (Spa) 14. Italian GP (Monza) 15. Korean GP 16. Russian GP 17. Japanese GP (Fuji) 18. Mexican GP (Cancun) |

Much as it's nice to fantasise, I can see the current trend continuing. Lots of racetracks in coutnries with no interest in racing, classic circuits axed or Tilkefied, and Suzuka never coming back, unless Tilke has some ideas for 'improving' it.

I don't expect the current calendar to change much if at all in the next five years. Perhaps a new grand prix here or there at the expense of one of the 'traditional' grand prix (Bernie has been quiet about Silverstone lately?!?!) but I don't forsee a calendar any longer than 17-18 races.

I've thought about a Czech GP at Brno and a Qatari GP at Losail. But, then again, we already have a GP in the Middle East (Bahrain)! Also, what about bringing back Argentina, Mexico, Portugal and South Africa?

I would love to see a GP in Ireland in 2010 at a new purpose built track. How about night races?
