The great thing about that video is that it shows you that you don't need the Nurburgring or a facsimile of it to have a good time.
I remember years ago thinking Baskerville was dead but no it turned out it was not. Hopefully they can preserve it and keep it running. It seems to be the least known active track in Australia. |

Looks a nice circuit - is it me or did the incar lap in the video not actually show a complete lap?

That place looks incredible, wouldn't mind having that in something like Gran Turismo

Had a ride around the track in the rain back in May, an interesting place but narrow!

Please see the video from this year's event. Despite a few set backs Andy raced a Starion and an Escort at the Historics.

And in Assetto Corsa too, thanks to a great scratch-made mod. Only reason I've ever heard of Baskerville, but I'm glad I have! Fun little track.

Hi all, just a few announcements regarding cars for the 2015 Baskerville Historics to be held from October 2-4..
Rusty French is bringing is Porsche 935 Turbo which is going to be blisteringly quick around the short little circuit. Alan Jones set an outright lap record many years ago. https://www.facebook.com/baskerville...type=1&theater There will also be the return of f5000's with Kieren Patel bringing his Sunoco Lola T192 (prepped by Dutton Garage). The sound will be an experience not to be forgotten especially with the natural amphitheatre style crowd layout. |

I'm interested in the Starion. Is that a genuine Group A car or a replica?

The Starion is a replica. It is a very close one at that, same roll cage design, SOHC 4g63, running the Group A specs. Not blisteringly quick but certainly looks the part on track.
