2012 Fantasy F1 Results - Germany

Apologies for being Late, combination of work, and forgetting it was back to back this weekend.

The Germany Round up

First the Relevant Facts and figures that determine the points…

All 24 cars qualified within the 107% time

There were 4 Grid drop penalty to be applied…

Webber, Perez, Grosjean and Rosberg all replaced Gearboxes out of sequence resulting in 5 place penalties.

As a result of these Penalties, Webber, remained in Q3 group and kept his bonus points. Perez remained within the Q2 group and kept his bonus point. Grosjean and Rosberg both dropped out of the Q2 group and lost their Bonus points.

Qualifying bonuses for Constructor having both cars in Q3 go to Red Bull, McLaren and Force India with the Engine supplier bonuses going to Mercedes and Renault for each powering 2 different constructors into Q3.

There were just the 2 leaders of the race Alonso and Vettel, each receives 1 bonus point. Alonso led the most laps resulting in additional bonus points to him, and Ferrari for both Constructor and for Engine supplier.

Fastest lap went to Schumacher taking the bonus points for himself, with Mercedes getting both the Constructor and Engine Supplier Bonuses.

The top 2 engines from each supplier, powering different constructors are colour coded for easy reference.

Hamilton was the only driver classified as non finishers. This was not a Technical failure so no penalty points were awarded.
