Thought you all might like to know that the local paper, the Chichester Observer, confirms today that the FoS will now take place on June 24, 25 and 26.

The BTCC meeting at Croft has been moved from 9-10 July to 16-17 July to avoid clashing with the GP.

Changes I'd like to see include some consideration for the marshals, especially if its raining, and a proper lunch time stand down, and maybe a marshals only pit lane walk meeting the drivers - after all they say they need us!!

aprescott has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I'm just glad they sorted the whole thing out, seemed to me that they could not organise a drunk party in a brewery!!

750MC
I was advised today of the deletion of our September 10th meeting at Oulton; This due to Bernie Ecclestone's changes impacting on the Bike GP dates and them on the Superbike dates and them on us. We seem to have a replacement on the same date but at Brands Hatch. That means, at the moment, no 2005 visit for 750MC to Oulton. I am not happy about that but we seem to be at the bottom of the pile when dates are changed. If I can't get a change I will have to apologise to all Oulton guys but it is outside our control.
For Brands regulars please mark 10 Sept (Saturday I'm afraid) in your calanders.
Merry Christmas to you all (except you know who)

Suspect that BARC's Croix en Ternois has been affected as the availability form that I got says the first coach is going out 5 days after the event finishes???

Peter,
Desperately sorry to learn of deletion of Oulton date, I can't imagine a season
at Oulton without a visit from 750MC.
I wish you evry success in securing a replacement date.
Regards
Gordon

Come to Anglesey instead, the though of 30 stock-hatches into the hairpin (thats if they make it that far) on the first lap would be, how can I put it..... exciting?

Funny you should say that, that was exactly the conversation the Mallory Boys were having when we came up for the December meeting. We reckoned Formula Vees would be scary too.

I've been on at Peter and Robin for years now to come to Anglesey!

Can I echo Gordon's words and say that a 750MC-less season at Oulton is just pants!
However, I will still get my fix of Hot/Stock Hatches, Vees etc at mallory and now I will just have to try harder to make myself available for Cadwell.

Pete.......can you still send some stickers and penguins up though please?

It might be worth noting that both Brands Hatch and Mallory Park will be running race meetings for cars the same weekend as the British GP.

There is a CSCC race meeting at Cadwell Park on July 10th. as well, so it will get even more interesting.
