Dragaan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Paddock Passes for the British GT in 2007?

I've just seen something that disturbs me slightly. On the Official British GT site is a picture of the Barwell Aston Martin next to a big sign that says 'Win Paddock Passes!'
Does this mean that the paddocks are going to be closed this year? Last year you could just wonder in and enjoy looking at the cars and chatting to the Drivers and teams. Are they planning on stopping that? If so, it would be a terrible shame. One of the best things about the BGT is its openess to the public. With that gone, one of the best parts of the weekend will have gone too.

If you read the article relating to the picture you will see that the competition is for VIP paddock passes rather than paddock passes. VIP passes have been available for British F3/GT for a few years now so I wouldn't worry about paddocks being closed this season.

Open Paddock for BGT in 2007

The competition, run in association with Autocar at ASI ,was for VIP passes to the SRO hospitality area. I can confirm that the paddock at all BGT rounds will be open to all spectators at no extra charge.

Hope this has put your concerns to rest.
