Enjoyed the Tin Tops - will only be there as a spectator though. Car won't be fixed until next year, and we're booked on the 18:00 ferry to go to the ring straight after the DTRC.- can you get both rounds completed by 16:30 ?

Tintops will run at this meeting, however they are likely to run with the Tigers, unless you can get a whole gridful, and entry fee will be £130 this time round.

Contact me for forms if you need them!

It's highly unlikely that I'll be there.
Have too much to do before hand.
(Will try running it on alcohol, as it should stay cool and require no water (to blow out!))

Is that £130 if you're entered in the DTRC as well?

Jamie, if you are using the same car (in DT&R and tin tops) like you did on Saturday, it is only £70 for the second pair of races. £200 for 4 races, what a bargain.

Fantastic, thanks Rod. Definitely up for that, please Ms Chezza can I have some entry forms?

Only one minor point: The turnaround between races on Saturday for myself and Bill Richards was very quick, and Bill had a team of helpers to sort things out for him whereas no-one loves me (aaah). Is there any chance we could have just a five minute breather so I can stick some more fuel in and check my tyres at this meet?

I thoroughly enjoyed the Tin Tops as well. For me it was a nice way back in having not done anything for over 4 years.

Unfortunately I will not be able to do the next one as I shall be on my way to the 'Ring with Alan.

Your large pit crew definately worked well on Saturday Andy especially to get you out for the first race!

Friendly bunch of chaps too!

I would love to do it, but cant justify the expense of a new set of tyres. How about letting me cut my spare slicks

Will make a change from the dirty water you normally throw out - this could be more pleasant, I will follow you (hic) - anyway I need a big lump in front as I keep losing my brakes around lydden. Dont the start line marshalls look worried when you use all the grass and more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see from Rod's site that the "Tin Tops" races might become a regular event; are there any speicfic regs for these, or is it pretty much anything with a roof is okay?

Yep I'll get one off to you!

Yes the tin-tops have proved to be fairly popular, and many people have said they would look to enter them as newer drivers before stepping up to the DTRC.

Erm its basically anything with a roof and treaded tyres, we were trying to keep it under 2l engines, but we had some one who was new to racing with a 4l enter last weekend.
