Nurburgring 24 hours pit garages

I was just wondering how on earth do they cater for 220 cars making pit stops!!

I'm guessing the bigger teams get the garages but how do the other cars deal with it?

Each team shares a garage space with I think 4 teams. No matter who you are, you share a space. I remember seeing a list where it listed which teams were in which pit stall. I remember the Zakspeed Viper shared a space with a BMW 318, opel Astra and I think a Porsche once....

I was running a car last year, the teams are all understanding, but sharing a fuel pump gets to be hard work. Garages are full, so is the pit wall.

Do you work out agreements on when each car comes in?

Do multicar teams get the same garage?

I think multi car teams do get to share a garage. As for working out pitstops, I fully intended to do this, as having to wait for the fuel pump would be a massive loss of time. However one of our drivers destroyed the car on the second lap of practice at Brightslide (or something like that) Bridge. So we never got to race.
