ENDS:/

A very strong line up for the opening round of the 2004 British GT championship. Personally Im hoping that the Scuderia Ecosse 360s can mount a challenge to the Rollcentre and Balfe Motorsport moslers, as well as the Eclipse Motorsport squad. Should be a great battle.

In GT Cup im really not so sure, but something tells me we could have a Porsche 1,2,3...

I'm definitely cheering on the Scuderia Ecosse effort! Can someone tell me if they're still planning an LMES assault this year?

I'm quite lucky really. Donnington Park is only an hour away from me. Might be up for this one.

www.dailysportscar.com today reports that Ian Khan will enter a year old Porsche 911 GT3 RS, driving alongside him will be Peter Kox! This is great news, another great driver and another great NGT car. That makes 32 entries for this weeks opening event so far...

Guess they are on the national as the F3's were testing there a few weeks ago on the national. The loop hasnt been used for racing since it has been relayed so guess it would be very slippy.
And Donington is still spelt like this and not Donnington

Apparently they're planning to do the Spa and 'Ring races.

I have not figured out yet how a Prosport3000 can be classed as a GT car (entry No.22). They never made a road car.

Yeah fair enough it looks about right, but its pushing the rules out a little bit.

I'm a little curious about the numbering of the cars. Is this a relic of the big cars leaving? I'd have thought they would have re-distributed them.

Anyway it should be a good race...

A shame to see the Emotional Engineering Holden Monaro hasn't materialised.

The Monaro (a Vauxhall not a Holden btw) is due at either round 2 or 3 with a second car mid season - Aaron Slight and Matt Griffin are signed for the season

unfortunately i cant make it to Donington, as i'll be at Rockingham, but i really am looking forward to the GT's at Snett, especially if the grid satys as large as it is.
the turn out last year was poor to say the least.

At least these boys may lay some rubber on the track if they stay on it long enough, it's a very green track now... like ice...
