Should we change the name of My Tracks?
Recently two of my car design threads have been moved here, which means that there are some non-track threads here, so to make these threads, and other similar threads, more visible, should we change the Forums name?

True, that's why it should stay as "my tracks" rather than "my tracks, cars, trucks, race teams"

Exactly Rockmunky "My Designs" or "My Graphics" would be to vague and a long title would just be silly.

To be honest, it struck me too that "My Tracks" was really the place for the "design a logo" / "design a car" / "design a paintjob" threads but I couldn't for the life of me come up with a forum name that covered these too. Possibly changing the DESCRIPTION might be better, but again I can't think of anything.
If anyone has any good ideas feel free to post 'em in this thread. |

People are more familiar withy the My Tracks name, and therefore My Tracks shoud keep it's name, it is a title that people are familiar with, Take the parc ferme thread, for example, it is our discussion thread, but if you change the title of this thread, people may start arguing about changing Parc Ferme into 'Miscellaneous and General Discussion', other people would complain, and other examples would almost definitely follow.
However, what we could do, is let a liveries sub thread run in the My tracks forums, and if it becomes a massive success, we have the possibility of moing the threads together in to one fourum, under a suitable title (i.e. The Drawing Room), changing he description to a suitable description (i.e. the one from lustigion). |
